Care Aid Positions

As a Care Aid with Christ Centered Care, you'll bring comfort, companionship, and practical support into the homes of those who need it — making a real difference in your community every day.

What we're looking for

• Aligned with Christian values and passionate about serving others
• Experience in home care or healthcare (preferred)
• Committed to client dignity and independence
• Reliable, professional, and trustworthy
• Available for flexible scheduling, with a minimum 3-hour shift
• Open to overnight and 24-hour shifts (some clients need around-the-clock coverage)

Your responsibilities

• Personal care — bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Companionship and emotional support
• Homemaking — meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Medication reminders
• Transportation to appointments, errands, church, and social outings
• Mobility assistance — walking, transfers, and moving safely around the home
• Safety and monitoring, including wellness and safety check-ins
• Specialized support for dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and stroke care
• Chronic illness care and day-to-day support for long-term conditions
• Post-hospital, rehabilitation, and in-hospital care
• Respite care that gives family caregivers time to rest
• Postpartum support for new mothers and families
• Non-medical end-of-life comfort care that honours dignity and faith
• Overnight and 24-hour coverage
• Spiritual encouragement (upon request)
